Donation will help provide meals for families in need this winter

WHAT : Amcomm Wireless owners, Peter McAvoy Sr. and Peter McAvoy II, will present Good Shepherd Food-Bank with a check for $10,000 to help feed Maine’s hungry this winter.

WHERE: Amcomm Wireless store at the Auburn Mall, 550 Center Street, Auburn, ME

WHY: Amcomm Wireless has made a commitment to help the Food-Bank in its goal of feeding as many of Maine’s hungry families as possible this winter. According to recent studies, nearly 195,000 Mainers are food insecure, meaning they do not have access to adequate amounts of nutritious food.
