Nationally touring comedian Louis Ramey leads 13 of New England’s funniest stand-up comics in the second annual LAME Comedy Fest. The event will take place September 5-6 at the Auburn Fireside Inn. Net proceeds will benefit Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, which is committed to providing the best possible care for stray, abandoned and abused animals.
Ramey has performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, recorded a half-hour special for Comedy Central and was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He’s toured England, Dubai, India, Australia and Hong Kong. The Atlanta native will perform Friday, Sept. 5 with fellow comics Tuck Tucker, Michele Mortensen, Jay Chanoine, Jake Jacobson and Ryan Chani.
