Lewiston - Auburn Rotary Announce Student Scholarships & Community Support

Lewiston – Members of the Lewiston Auburn Rotary District 7790 presented seven $1000 scholarship awards during the Club’s Annual Awards Banquet held at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston on May 11.  “Every year, the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club raises thousands of dollars to donate to graduating high school seniors and worthy community organizations,” shares William Denehy, Vocational Service Committee Chair.   “To raise these funds, w

Lewiston Variety Open House with Governor Lepage June 25th at 4:00 p.m.

Billy and Sarah Yasin announce the Grand Opening of LEWISTON VARIETY. The event will be all day June 25th starting at 9 AM and ending at 5PM. LEWISTON VARIETY has been operating under new management since February, and June 25 will mark the official celebration of its opening. The store is located at the former Quality Market on College St (145 College St), which was a fixture at this site for years.

The Grand Opening will include hourly door prizes and other giveaways, including a Grand Prize. There will be product demonstrations and free samples. The ribbon cutting will be exectued by Governor LePage toward the afternoon hours. Stop in and check out the special deals and low pices.

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Suzanne W. Zimmerman, CNM, a Certified Nurse Midwife, has joined Mid Coast Medical Group-Women’s Health Care.

The Bowdoinham resident is a graduate of SUNY-Buffalo and the Frontier School of Midwifery in Hyden, KY.

“Suzanne brings a lot of experience and the most cheery disposition to our Women’s Health team,” says Eileen Delaney, Mid Coast Hospital’s Women’s Health Nurse Director. “Her presence allows us to continue around-the-clock midwifery care for those patients who choose that method of childbirth with the peace of mind that comes knowing an obstetrician is always available.”

Suzanne grew up in Williamsville, NY, a suburb of Buffalo.
