Dempsey Center Offers Relationship Strengthening Workshop

LEWISTON - The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center is offering a free relationship workshop for prostate cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. “Strengthening Relationships and Maintaining Sexual Intimacy Following Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer” will take place Wednesday, July 27 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at CMMC, 12 High St. , Conference Room H.

 Prostate cancer survivors Michael Todd and Ole Jaeger join caring partner Sandy Jaeger to share stories and lead a discussion on how diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer can bring couples closer together in sharing a journey of love, affection and sexual intimacy.

 Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and sharing. Light refreshments will be served.
