Comedy Fix to feature Johnny Ater | Events
Johnny Ater highlights a great lineup of stand-up comedians for Comedy Fix XVI. The show will take place Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. at the Auburn Fireside Inn with all net proceeds benefiting the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society (GAHS). Comedy Fix founder Mark Turcotte also welcomes Shawn Carter, Phoebe Angle, Matt Kona and Connor McGrath.
Whether he’s taking light-hearted swipes at himself and his fellow Mainers or contorting his face into hilarious characters, Johnny Ater has left audiences laughing throughout New England and beyond. He’s performed at the Punchline in San Francisco and hosted the 2014 Maine Comedy Festival. He has also appeared on WCSH’s ‘207’ and ‘The Nite Show with Danny Cashman’.
Carter has performed in Las Vegas and was a semi-finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival. Angle was featured in the Boston Globe and Women’s Funny Fest in Chicago.
Kona has performed at the North Carolina Comedy and Arts Festival and hosts the Comics Coming Up podcast. McGrath is the co-host of ‘That’s Just It! With Connor and Kurt’ and ‘Making Decisions for You’ on Time Warner Cable.
