Comedy Fix XX to feature Tuck Tucker | Events
Maine’s Tuck Tucker will make his third Comedy Fix appearance, highlighting a great lineup of stand-up comedians for Comedy Fix XX at the Auburn Fireside Inn. The show will take place Friday, March 13 at 8 p.m. with net proceeds benefiting Good Shepherd Food Bank (GSFB). Comedy Fix founder Mark Turcotte will also welcome Tim Hofmann, Jeff Keon, Paul Hunt, Mark Reilly and a special guest appearance from Kate Carroll.
Tucker, a member of Portland’s Running with Scissors improv group, headlined the Maine Comedy Festival in 2013 and was a finalist on HBO’s Lucky 21 Comedy Showcase in New York City. He’s performed at the Funnybone in Hartford, CT and the Comedy Connection in Boston and Providence.
Hofmann is Portland-based comic and hosts the weekly Laugh Shack comedy show at Skybox in Westbrook. He’s performed at COMIX at Foxwoods and stars in the new web series ‘Christmas Craig’.
Koen performs in the Boston area and has toured New England opening for Juston McKinney. He’s also performed with the themed standup show How Men Think (Or Do They?). Koen starred in the 2011 independent film Heavy Times and plays a leading role in the comic web series Post Office Golf League.
Hunt has appeared in a national Subway commercial and was named Maine’s Funniest Comic in 2008. Reilly was a finalist in Portland’s Got Talent and a semi-finalist in Portland’s Funniest Professional contest. Carroll won Bethel’s version of Last Comic Standing and founded Cause for Laughter, an annual fundraiser benefiting needy families.
