LISBON HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVES $500 CONTRIBUTION FROM LISBON XTRA MART

 

Lisbon – On Tuesday, March 26, Lisbon Xtra-Mart Manager, Tonia Ross, (pictured at right), presented Ken Healey, Principal of Lisbon High School, with a check for $500.  Ross made the presentation as a gift to the school on behalf of Educational Alliance Program sponsored by Exxon/Mobil.  Healey commented “Thanks to the contributions from community businesses like Xtra-Mart, the students at Lisbon High School benefit.  Monies will be used to purchase “spirit shirts” for student awards in areas of academic achievement and overall good sportsmanship.” “It is always a pleasure to help the students at LHS they make our community proud,” commented Ross.  FMI on forming a community partnership with Lisbon Schools call 754.0021 or email mmillhime@lisbonschoolsme.org.  Visit Community Resource News in Lisbon Schools for the latest programs and projects within the Lisbon School Department.  Photo by Monica Millhime.
