Lisbon Middle School Student Plays it Forward

Devin Libby pictured with Reverend Bailey, of the Lisbon Falls Church of the Nazarene, proudly displays his finished project of community service as a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 109 in Lisbon Falls.  Devin started his scouting career as a Tiger Cub as a first grader with Pack 109, earning the highest rank in Cub Scouting - the Arrow of Light.  He is currently working towards his Eagle rank with Troop 109.  Devin will be attending the Boy Scout National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia this July.

LISBON’S AARON HALLS RECEIVES MPA PRINCIPAL'S AWARD

Lisbon – Aaron Halls of Lisbon Falls, a senior at Lisbon High School, has been selected to receive the 2013 Principal's Award, Principal Kenneth Healey announced today.  The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals' Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior's academic achievement and citizenship.

 

"Aaron Halls is one of the finest young men I have ever met,” shares Principal Healey. “ He is a true Ambassador for Lisbon High School, and can be counted on 100% of the time to represent Lisbon High School with dignity and class.  I'm happy to recognize Aaron for his unsurpassed positive contribution he has provided our school.  All of us at Lisbon High School wish him well as he takes on the challenges of post-secondary education and life."
